LEGAL TEAM DEFINITION

There has been confusion (as usual at the beginning of the season ) as to how many people of each gender constitutes a legal team - I hope I can erase the confusion:

  1. Maximum number of players on the court at ANY ONE TIME is 6.
  2. At least 1 (one) female player must play. NO MORE THAN 4 MALE PLAYERS may be on the court at any one time playing (exception is the A League - they may have 5 male players and 1 female).
  3. Minimum of 4 players constitutes a legal team ( i.e. NO 3, 2 or 1 player teams are legal).
EXAMPLES 1: Legal Teams

1 female 3 males for a total of 4 players.
1 male 3 females for a total of 4 players.

2 females 4 males for a total of 6 players.
3 females 3 males for a total of 6 players.
4 females 2 males for a total of 6 players.
4 females 1 male for a total of 5 players.
5 females 1 male for a total of 6 players.

EXAMPLE 2: Non-Legal Teams
